China (officially - the People´s Republic of China, PRC) is world´s most populated country, with about 1.35b of inhabitants. Beijing is the capital city, but Shanghai is the largest city of the country. But there is alot more business centers across the China. As a state capitalist country, Chinese leadership dominates essential sectors of energy production and heavy industries. However, private enterprises and businesses are growing dramatically in the last couple of decades. National official currency of PR China is Yuan (CNY).

Strategic industries in China are alternative energy, biotechnology, new-generation IT, high-end equipment manufacturing, and alternative-fuel cars, and eco-friendly technologies. Main exports, which can also be considered as buy opportunities, from China are office equipment, clothing, telecom equipment, and electrical machinery; main imports are electrical machinery, petroleum products, professional services and instruments, and metal ore and scrap. To grow into Chinese market as a company (to sell or buy business or franchise), one has to invest time and good effort to comprehend how they deal with different types of businesses situations: to sell and buy products and services to or from the PRC is not as they are in the west. There is also a new force of internal consumers market in the country, where local as well as international companies do all they can to capture. There are also local franchises (with a wide range of asking price) as businesses for sale in different provinces of China too.
